Join our expert Guides for field days of kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Get hands-on experience in navigation, gear care, and outdoor safety. Level up your skills through outdoors adventures with friends both old and new.

Trial Days Single Day
Try the program before committing to an Apprenticeship series.
Tuition $95

Apprenticeship Weekdays 1 day a week/10 week series
Attend weekdays over a season—see below for schedule.
Tuition $50 deposit + 3 monthly payments of $300 (total $950)

Apprenticeship Weekends 1 day a month/Fall to Spring
Attend weekends over the year—see below for schedule.
Tuition $50 deposit + 9 monthly payments of $100 (total $950).

High School Outdoor Leadership Program 2 days a month/Dec to April
Attend Sundays between Dec and April—see below for schedule.
Tuition $50 deposit + 5 monthly payments of $200 (total $1050).
Activities Snowshoeing, Hiking, Backpacking and Camping skills, navigation and trip planning, mountaineering skills, climbing, and paddling (weather dependent). Focusing on leadership and decision making and led by expert guides.

Single Day Snowshoe Camps February 4, 5, 18 or 19
8am to 4pm
Tuition $115.
Activities Brave the elements and explore the snowy wilds of Wy'East (Mt. Hood) by Snowshoe. While honing their winter Backcountry travel techniques, students will be exposed to a range of topics based on interest and snow conditions that could include but are not limited to wildlife sensitivity and animal tracking, weather observation and decision making, snow safety and avalanche awareness, and temporary shelter building in the snow. This outing requires winter gear typical of spending most of the day in the snow.

Break Camps

Camp No School & Breaks 1-5 days/Spring, Summer, Winter
Discover and build on core skills in our break camps. Options for hiking, paddling, climbing or multi-sport. Tuition Varies

Choose Your Schedule

When choosing a schedule, be sure your child can make all or most of the program days. Due to group size limits, we do not allow switching between schedules.

Prepare Ahead

  • Please be prepared with the following information: allergies and other medical needs; and authorized pick-up list.
  • Please send your child along with the following items: water bottle, food, portable hand sanitizer and any items in packing list we email.
  • During the checkout process we will still require ID checks to correspond with authorized names on our roster.

Covid 19 Related Information

  • All participants and guardians dropping off must were a cloth or disposable CDC-recommended face covering mask. Use fitted masks exclusively as these have been proven more effective.
  • Please take your child’s temperature each morning and asses any Covid symptoms.
  • If covid symptoms are present, do not attend programming and contact to record absence.
  • Do your best to limit only one authorized adult for drop-off and pick-up.
  • We organize class space to maximize social distance. We ask for your help in preparing your child to respect the space of others.
  • When transporting or indoors we keep everything well ventilated. Dress with warm layers to accommodate this.

Independent Release

  • If you camper is 10 years or older, then you might consider signing an Independent Release Waiver. This allows your camper to self check-in during the morning, and check themselves out and then meet you outside the building in the afternoon.
  • Log onto your account and go to "Manage Medical Forms and Independent Releases." This allows you to fill out this form online.
  • You must fill out the form before 4 days before program begins to ensure the waiver is processed in time.
  • Older campers who have been approved for Independent Release are permitted to pick up younger siblings.
